Ingredients

  • 12-14 fresh strawberries, stems removed
  • 8 large mint leaves (or 12 small mint leaves)
  • 1 cups Sprite
  • cup fresh lime juice
  • Crushed ice (optional)
  • Mint leaves, for garnish
  • Lime slices, for garnish

Method

  1. Add the strawberries and mint leaves to a large pitcher.
  2. Using a muddler or the back of a wooden spoon, gently muddle the strawberries and mint until the strawberries release their juices. Avoid shredding the mint leaves.
  3. Pour in the fresh lime juice and Sprite, then stir gently to combine.
  4. Fill serving glasses with crushed ice, if desired.
  5. Pour the strawberry mojito mixture over the ice.
  6. Garnish each glass with fresh mint leaves and lime slices.

Notes

  • Use chilled Sprite for the most refreshing flavor.
  • Freshly squeezed lime juice gives the best taste.
  • Muddle the mint gently to avoid bitterness.
  • Replace Sprite with sparkling water for a less sweet version.
  • Best enjoyed immediately after preparing, while the soda is still fizzy.
