Instructions

  • Preheat & Prepare:

    • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Grease or line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  • Mix Wet Ingredients:

    • In a mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar until smooth.
    • Add eggs, vanilla extract, red food coloring, and vinegar. Mix until combined.
  • Combine Dry Ingredients:

    • In a separate bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  • Mix & Bake:

    • Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
    • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
    • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
    • Let the brownies cool completely before frosting.
  • Prepare Cream Cheese Frosting:

    • Beat the cream cheese and butter until creamy.
    • Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.

Notes

  • For a deeper red color, you can add more food coloring.
  • If you prefer a stronger chocolate flavor, increase cocoa powder to 1/3 cup.
