- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) active dry yeast
- ¾ cup warm water
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp sugar
- ½ tsp salt
For the Sauce
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp sour cream
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- ½ tsp dried dill
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
For the Toppings
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup dill pickle slices
- 1 tbsp pickle juice (optional, for extra tang)
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
Instructions
Prepare the Dough:
- In a small bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
- In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Add yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Cover and let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Preheat Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). Place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat.
Make the Sauce:
- In a bowl, mix mayo, sour cream, garlic, dill, onion powder, and black pepper. Set aside.
Assemble the Pizza:
- Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about 12 inches in diameter.
- Transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet or pizza stone.
- Spread the garlic-dill sauce evenly over the crust.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the sauce.
- Arrange pickle slices on top and drizzle with pickle juice if desired.
Bake:
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
Garnish & Serve:
- Sprinkle with fresh dill and red pepper flakes (if using).
