Description

A unique and tangy twist on traditional pizza, this Pickle Pie Pizza combines a creamy garlic sauce, gooey cheese, and zesty dill pickles on a crispy crust. Perfect for pickle lovers!

    • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour

    • ¾ cup warm water

    • ½ cup mayonnaise
    • 2 tbsp sour cream

    • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
    • 1 cup dill pickle slices

    • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped

Instructions

  • Prepare the Dough:

    • In a small bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
    • In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Add yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth.
    • Cover and let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  • Preheat Oven:

    • Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). Place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat.
  • Make the Sauce:

    • In a bowl, mix mayo, sour cream, garlic, dill, onion powder, and black pepper. Set aside.
  • Assemble the Pizza:

    • Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about 12 inches in diameter.
    • Transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet or pizza stone.
    • Spread the garlic-dill sauce evenly over the crust.
    • Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the sauce.
    • Arrange pickle slices on top and drizzle with pickle juice if desired.
