For the Focaccia Dough:
- 4 cups all-purpose flour

- 1 cup pizza sauce

Instructions
Activate the Yeast:
- In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
Make the Dough:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt.
- Add the yeast mixture and olive oil, mixing until a sticky dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 5–7 minutes until smooth.
Let the Dough Rise:
- Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1–2 hours or until doubled in size.
Prepare the Focaccia Base:
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Grease a baking sheet or a cast-iron skillet with olive oil.
- Spread the dough evenly, pressing it into the corners. Let it rest for 15 minutes.
- Dimple the surface with your fingers and drizzle more olive oil on top.
Pre-Bake the Focaccia:
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until slightly golden.
Add Toppings:
- Spread pizza sauce over the partially baked focaccia.
- Sprinkle cheese, oregano, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes. Add your preferred toppings.
Bake Again:
- Return to the oven and bake for another 10–15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Garnish & Serve:
- Let it cool for a few minutes, garnish with fresh basil, slice, and enjoy!

- For extra flavor, mix rosemary or minced garlic into the dough.
- You can use whole wheat flour for a healthier alternative.
